Our primary goal is to equip the body of Christ for a great awakening through our worship and praise and to release people into their destiny! My wife and I started this ministry under the direction of Holy Spirit. We began with an event called Engulfed. The word Engulfed means to be “Overtaken.” Another goal of Engulfed Ministries is to usher in the Presence and Glory of the King so that lives can be changed, healing can take place, yokes and bondages can be destroyed, and that Almighty God can be lifted up. From the time that I was a small boy I knew that God had something important that He wanted specifically for my life. I started singing on a platform at the age of eight with a choir in my local church. At the age of thirteen I began to feel that the Lord wanted something more for my life. I began to play the piano and started leading our youth choir in worship. At fifteen years old, I felt the calling on my life to preach the infallible Word of God. At that time, I began singing and playing the keys on our senior worship team.
Shortly after that, my family and I felt as if the Lord wanted us relocate to a church closer to home.
After doing so, in just a few short months, the pastor asked if I would lead the worship team. I was sixteen years old at the time. Being so young, I had my questions about being the leader of a senior worship team. The Lord reminded me of the many different people in the Bible that he called and anointed at an EARLY age, so despite all of the questions and doubt in my mind I decided to go forth with leading this team.
Jaron currently serves as the Worship Pastor/Leader at Mercy Ministries in Lucedale, MS. Courtney serves as the college/career leader. Mercy Ministries "A Place to Heal" is a thriving church that is growing not only in number, but growing in the spirit and knowledge of God!
